Questions people ask before signing up
What happens when the 14-day trial ends?
The workspace moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked — you keep full access to read and export everything you have made. If you are over the Free limits, editing pauses until you upgrade or remove what is over.
Do I need a credit card to try Pro?
No. Every new workspace gets 14 days of Pro without entering card details. You only reach a payment form if you decide to subscribe.
Can I get my translations out?
Always, on every plan, including after a trial or subscription ends. Export to JSON, PO, iOS .strings and .xcstrings, Android XML, CSV or YAML — one language at a time or all of them as a zip. Your strings are never held hostage.
Is the MCP server really on the free plan?
Yes. The MCP server and the lz_ API keys work on every plan. Connecting your AI coding agent to your translations is the point of the product, not an upsell.
What counts as a project?
A project is one set of translation keys — usually one app, site or service. It can target as many languages as your plan allows, across web, iOS, Android and dashboard platforms.
Is billing per user?
No. Pricing is per workspace, so adding translators and developers costs nothing. Pro includes unlimited members.
Can I change or cancel later?
Yes, from Plan & billing in your workspace. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then moves you to Free.
