Questions people ask before signing up

Is there a limit on how many strings I can store?

No, on any plan — including Free. Your plan sets how many projects, members, screenshots and webhooks you get; keys, languages and translations are neither capped nor counted, so an app that grows does not cost more for growing.

What happens when the 14-day trial ends?

The workspace moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted. You keep editing in the dashboard, and reading or exporting through the API and MCP server. Writing through those stops. If you are over the Free limits, dashboard editing pauses until you upgrade or remove what is over.

Do I need a credit card to try Pro?

No. Every new workspace gets 14 days of Pro without entering card details. You only reach a payment form if you decide to subscribe.

Can I get my translations out?

Always, on every plan, including after a trial or subscription ends. Export to JSON, PO, iOS .strings and .xcstrings, Android XML, XLIFF 1.2, Flutter .arb, Java .properties, CSV or YAML — one language at a time or all of them as a zip. Your strings are never held hostage.

Is the MCP server really on the free plan?

Reading is. On Free an agent can list, read and export. Creating or changing strings through the API, MCP server or CLI needs Pro. The iOS and Android SDKs need Mobile, and both are included during the 14-day trial.

Can I get more free projects by making another workspace?

No. On Free the project limit counts your whole account, across every workspace you own, so extra workspaces do not add projects. Workspaces other people invite you to are not counted against you, and each workspace you subscribe for gets five projects of its own.

What happens to activity history on Free?

You see the last 14 days of it. Nothing is deleted — older entries stay recorded and appear again the moment the workspace is on a paid plan.

What counts as a project?

A project is one set of translation keys — usually one app, site or service. It can target as many languages as you like on any plan, across web, iOS, Android and dashboard platforms.

Is billing per user?

No. Pricing is per workspace, so adding translators and developers costs nothing. Pro includes unlimited members.

Can I change or cancel later?

Yes, from Plan & billing in your workspace. You can move between Pro and Mobile there. Cancelling keeps the paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then moves you to Free.
